Subprocessors
Last updated 7 October 2026
1. About this list
A subprocessor is a business outside Spalk that handles personal information on our behalf so that we can run the website and provide our services. This page lists the subprocessors that Spalk (U.S.) Incorporated (“Spalk”, “we”, “us”) uses, what each one does for us, the kinds of personal information it receives, and where it processes that information.
Each subprocessor is bound by a written agreement that requires it to protect personal information and to use it only to provide its service to us. Where personal information about individuals in the United Kingdom or the European Union is transferred outside those regions, those agreements include recognised transfer safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.

3. Where your personal information is processed
Account information is held in the United States. Live media for an event, including commentary audio, is processed in the Amazon Web Services region closest to that event, chosen from the following:
- United States (N. Virginia and Oregon)
- Brazil (São Paulo)
- United Kingdom (London)
- Ireland
- France (Paris)
- Germany (Frankfurt)
- Italy (Milan)
- United Arab Emirates
- South Africa (Cape Town)
- India (Mumbai)
- Singapore
- Japan (Tokyo)
- South Korea (Seoul)
- Australia (Sydney)
Images and other files served through our content delivery network may be cached at locations around the world so that they load quickly.
4. Services we run ourselves
Some processing is done by software that Spalk operates itself rather than by a separate provider. This includes our own speech-to-text and text-to-speech models, which run on our Amazon Web Services infrastructure, our error tracking system and our monitoring dashboards. These are not separate subprocessors.
5. Destinations you choose
When a rightsholder or operator sends a broadcast to a destination of their choosing, such as a streaming platform, a broadcaster or any RTMP or SRT address, that destination receives the finished programme, which may include commentators’ voices and likenesses. We send to these destinations only on the instructions of the rightsholder or operator who configured them. They are not Spalk subprocessors, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
6. Changes to this list
We will update this page before a new subprocessor begins processing personal information on our behalf, and the date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
7. Contact us
